When sporting enthusiasts, Jonathan and Carissa, were searching for their perfect family home, a community with plenty of open space was a top priority. With two young children, two dogs and a cat, it’s no surprise they’ll need easy access to kick a footy and enjoy an active lifestyle.
Originally from Werribee, Jonathan moved to Endeavour Hills with Carissa to start a family. They’d talked about moving into a larger home, but the idea really fell into place when Jonathan was driving through Werribee on his way to a baseball game and saw the signs for King’s Leigh.
“I was driving past and decided to have a look. I saw a really large block at 682sqm, which is plenty of room for a big backyard, and it all happened quite quickly from there. We were really drawn to King’s Leigh’s location. I play baseball all over Melbourne from Geelong to Berwick, so we needed a location with easy access to the freeway. Being such an active family King’s Leigh’s parkland designs really appealed to us, we’ll be able to easily kick the footy around with the kids or go for a walk together,” Jonathan said.
Settling down in a wholesome community environment was also a deciding factor for Jonathan and Carissa. They want their kids to grow up in safe surroundings with lots of schools and sporting clubs nearby.
“We liked how safe King’s Leigh is. It’s not too close to any major roads, but is still close enough to the freeway for us. The area is establishing so quickly as well, and there are plenty of schools and clubs to choose from. It really is a great place to raise a family,” Jonathan said.
